Castelo de Sonhos

Castelo de Sonhos (Association) is a non-profit organization based in Silves, founded in 1999 and officially recognised as a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) in 2002.

Its core objectives include: providing support to children in the areas of education and health; preventing situations of social, physical, psychological, and moral risk; delivering a range of home-based care services aimed at improving access to community resources; alleviating poverty; and promoting recreational activities. It is worth noting that all of the institution’s activities are guided by the foundational principles of the social economy.

In pursuit of its mission, Castelo de Sonhos may also engage in activities of an instrumental nature related to its non-profit aims, either directly or through entities it establishes or joins.

Any economic outcomes from such activities are exclusively reinvested to further its non-profit objectives.
