Praia Fluvial da Lomba

The beach is situated on the left bank of the Douro in the municipality of Gondomar, renowned for its fantastic river beaches. Camping here is free of charge; there is a picnic area with concrete and wooden tables and a community barbecue, drinking water, recycling bins, showers and toilets, as well as a snack bar with a terrace.
Lifeguards ensure your safety in the designated swimming area. There is also a ramp providing access to the sandy beach and another for water sports, as well as excellent shaded areas.
If you’re curious, you can always head to the Praia Fluvial de Melres, as there is a taxi boat for one Euro that connects these two beaches.
