Museu Biblioteca da Casa de Bragança in Vila Viçosa
The construction of the Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa, where the museum is located, began in 1501, with the basic works completed with D. Maria I, at the end of the XVIII century. The space to visit encompasses the Noble Floor, including the collection of works of Decorative Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textiles. On the ground floor of the palace are the Armory and Treasury and, in annexed rooms, the Carriage Collection.

Der Bau des Herzogspalastes von Vila Viçosa, in dem sich das Museum befindet, begann im Jahr 1501, und war Ende des XVIII. Jahrhunderts unter D. Maria I. nahezu abgeschlossen. Im ersten Stock sind Werke der dekorativen Kunst, Malerei, Skulptur und Textilien zu besichtigen, im Erdgeschoss befinden sich die Rüst- und die Schatzkammer sowie in Nebenräumen die Kutschensammlung.
