Mutex – Museu dos Têxteis, Castelo Branco

The MUTEX textile museum aims to familiarise visitors with the industrial and technical heritage of textile production. Original machines are used to learn more about the production phases of carding and spinning. There is also an audiovisual room and machines for the weaving process.
The textile museum allows visitors to understand the evolution of techniques over time as well as their territorial and historical context.

Das Textilmuseum MUTEX soll den Besuchern das industrielle und technische Erbe der Textilherstellung näherbringen. An Originalmaschinen erfährt man mehr über die Produktionsphasen Kardieren und Spinnen. In einem weiteren Bereich gibt es auch einen audiovisuellen Saal und Maschinen für den Webprozess. Das Textilmuseum ermöglicht es dem Besucher, die Entwicklung der Techniken im Laufe der Zeit sowie ihren territorialen und historischen Kontext zu verstehen.
