Museu do Douro, Peso da Régua

It was conceived as a multipurpose museum of the area, designed to collect, preserve, identify and publicize the extensive museological and documentary heritage scattered throughout the region.

Around this exhibition area are the restaurant “A Companhia”, the store, the information center (archive and library), the reading room, the conservation and restoration center, the wine bar and the garden terrace overlooking the Douro River.

Es wurde als Mehrzweckmuseum des Gebiets konzipiert, das das umfangreiche museologische und dokumentarische Erbe, das in der gesamten Region verstreut ist, sammeln, bewahren, identifizieren und bekannt machen soll.

Um diesen Ausstellungsbereich herum befinden sich das Restaurant “A Companhia“, der Shop, das Informationszentrum (Archiv und Bibliothek), der Lesesaal, das Konservierungs- und Restaurierungszentrum, die Weinbar und die Gartenterrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss Douro.
