Museu da Guerra Colonial, Vila Nova de Famalicão

It is the result of a partnership between the Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council, the Association of Disabled Armed Forces Personnel and the Infante D Henrique Day School. The content and methodology, collection, processing, organisation and study of sources were the result of an educational project led by Dr. José Manuel Lages and 32 students in collaboration with the aforementioned entities. The MGC was inaugurated in April 1999 and is located at Lago Dicount/Ribeirão. The museum is managed by the Associação do Museu da Guerra Colonial, which includes its founding collective and individual members. This structure is part of the Rede de Museus de Vila Nova de Famalicão and has collaboration agreements with the Portuguese Armed Forces.

Es ist das Ergebnis einer Partnerschaft zwischen der Stadtverwaltung von Vila Nova de Famalicão, dem Behindertenverband der Streitkräfte und der Schule Infante D Henrique. Der Inhalt und die Methodik, die Sammlung, Aufbereitung, Organisation und Untersuchung der Quellen sind das Ergebnis eines pädagogischen Projekts unter der Leitung von Dr. José Manuel Lages und 32 Schülern in Zusammenarbeit mit den genannten Einrichtungen. Das MGC wurde im April 1999 eröffnet und befindet sich am Lago Dicount/Ribeirão. Die Verwaltung des Museums obliegt der Associação do Museu da Guerra Colonial, zu der die kollektiven und individuellen Gründungsmitglieder gehören. Diese Struktur ist Teil der Rede de Museus de Vila Nova de Famalicão und unterhält Kooperationsvereinbarungen mit den portugiesischen Streitkräften.
